Support Services at Lowell

Lowell has a variety of on-site professional support services to best address the needs of our students. On-site service professionals and services include:

  • Occupational Therapists  (small or fine motor)
  • Physical Therapists (large or gross motor)
  • Speech Language Pathology Therapists
  • Seattle Public Schools Vision Department
  • Resource  Room Specialists for students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Special Education Teachers and Staff providing Focus, Distinct, and Medically Fragile Programs
  • Special Education Teachers and Staff providing Preschool programs, including extended day services
  • 10. FTE Counselor
  • 1.0 FTE Interventionist Specialist
  • 1.9 FTE English-Language Learners teachers plus Instructional Assistant ELL staff
  • 1.0 FTE Music Teacher
  • 1.0 FTE Physical Education Teacher
  • 0.8 Visual and Tactile Arts Teacher
  • School Psychologist, one and one-half day per week
  • 1.0 FTE Family Support Worker
  • 1.0 School Nurse

Food Pantry

The Lowell Food Pantry provides weekend meals to students in need.  If you and your family are in need, please stop by the office and let us know.  We can add you to the list.
The Lowell Food Pantry delivers food bags to students each Friday.
The PTA Food Pantry  delivers approximately 3,500 bags every year, now with volunteers from our community as well as Wedgewood Elementary.
