Services Overview

Support Services at Lowell

Lowell has a variety of on-site professional support services to best address the needs of our students. On-site service professionals and services include:

  • Occupational Therapists (small or fine motor)
  • Physical Therapists (large or gross motor)
  • Speech Language Pathology Therapists
  • Seattle Public Schools Vision Department
  • Resource Room Specialists for students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Special Education Teachers and Staff providing Focus, Distinct, and Medically Fragile Programs
  • Special Education Teachers and Staff providing Preschool programs, including PCIS extended day services
  • 1.0 FTE Social Worker
  • 3.0 FTE Interventionist Specialist
  • 1.0 FTE English-Language Learners teachers plus Instructional Assistant ELL staff
  • 1.0 FTE Music Teacher
  • 1.0 FTE Physical Education Teacher
  • 0.8 Visual and Tactile Arts Teacher
  • School Psychologist, one and one-half day per week
  • 1.0 FTE Family Support Worker
  • 1.0 School Nurse

Food Pantry

  • The Lowell Food Pantry provides weekend meals to students.
  • The Lowell Food Pantry delivers food bags to students each Friday.
  • The PTA Food Pantry delivers approximately 3,500 bags every year, now with volunteers from our community.
