Lowell is a “late-start” school.

School Hours: 8:55 a.m.- 3:25 p.m. 
Wednesdays: 8:55 a.m.- 2:10 p.m.

• 8:40 a.m. Students arrive and come to the cafeteria. Please note there is no adult supervision before 8:40 a.m. Students are also welcome in the library and gym spaces if they are not eating breakfast.
• 8:40-8:55 a.m. Breakfast in the cafeteria.
• 8:50 First Bell (Teachers on duty, classrooms open for students who are done eating)
• 9:00 a.m. Students in class, ready to learn!
• Lunch/Recess. All students have a 20 minute recess before lunch each day.
• 3:25 p.m. Students Dismissed

All students have a second recess as well, supervised by their classroom teachers.

Wednesdays only: Grades K-5 Students Dismissed at 2:10 p.m.

Teachers can provide grade-level specific schedules to families upon request. More information will be shared at Curriculum Night in early October.
