Happy 2025-26 school year! Lowell Elementary School has its very own school-based health center in Room 101B. Seattle Public Schools-enrolled students have access to medical and mental health services throughout the school day. Caregivers do not need to be present during a student’s visit. Enrollment forms in various languages are available online, at the school nurse’s office and in the clinic. Enrollment forms were also provided in day-one envelopes.

Meet the Team!

Tania Arce GaxiolaMA, LMHCA (she/they) and Amy Li, PhD, NCSP (she/her) are mental health therapists. They provide individual therapy for students. 

Tania is available on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Amy is available on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

My name is Tania Arce Gaxiola

I have been with Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic for three years and provide individual therapy services at Lowell’s school-based health clinic and Othello’s clinic.

I grew up in Mexico during my early childhood, but have lived in Washington since I was 10 years-old. I’m a big foodie, love spending time outdoors, playing video games, and doing artsy activities. I also love spending quality time with friends and family, as well as discovering hidden gems in WA with my partner and our dog Bruno during our free time.

Amy Li

Amy Li is a licensed psychologist specializing in culturally responsive assessment, intervention and consultation for children and families. As a strengths-based, humanistic therapist, Amy’s work centers the beauty and brilliance of each child while fostering their social, emotional, and behavioral well-being. She deeply values partnering and collaborating with children, parents, caregivers, educators, and multi-disciplinary teams to support the whole child. 

Tania Haag MD, (she/her) and Jenna Paul, ARNP, FNP-C, MPH (she/her) are medical providers. These medical providers also see patients at Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic. Medical visits are available on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tania Haag, MD is a board-certified general pediatrician at the Lowell School Based Health Center and Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic. As a former teacher, she is passionate about school-based healthcare and supporting students’ health so that they can focus on learning. She is looking forward to working with the wonderful students, families, and staff at Lowell Elementary!

Dr. Haag completed her pediatric residency training at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington, and earned her MD from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

Jenna Paul

Hello, I am Jenna Paul, and I am honored to have been one of the medical providers at Lowell School Based Health Clinic.  I love school based health care and the wonderful students families and staff at Lowell Elementary. This will be my 4th  school year on the Lowell SBHC team.   I have Master of Nursing  (Family Nurse Practitioner) and  Master of Public Health in Global Health from Case Western Reserve University  and a Bachelors Degrees in Nursing, Psychology and Global Studies from Central Methodist University  and Azusa Pacific University.  

I am passionate about providing the best  primary health care possible and really getting to know our patients and their families. I believe health is a right and children’s  health is vital to the health of our communities. 

I grew up in Denver, Colorado and moved to Washington State five years ago. I have lived in five different states and two countries in my life. I am fluent in English and Spanish and love learning more from the families I work with. I have been married to my husband for nine years. We have two wonderful sons and are expecting a baby girl in September. While I will be spending time with my new baby in the fall semester, I look forward to rejoining the team in the spring!

Khadra  Guled (she/her) is a Community Mental Health Worker. She helps connect students and families to mental health resources outside of school.

Khadra is available on Tuesday.

Laurie Goff (she/her) is the Clinic Coordinator. She helps enroll students and families, schedule visits, and supports other clinic needs.

Laurie is available Monday through Friday.

Hello!

My name is Khadra Guled, and I am a Community Mental Health Worker. At Lowell elementary school,  My role is to support families in accessing behavioral health resources available outside of the school setting. I am dedicated to providing support and guidance to help families find the services that best meet their needs.

I am on-site every Tuesday and look forward to connecting with you to navigate the many mental health support options available.
