Support Services at Lowell

Lowell has a variety of on-site professional support services to best address the needs of our students. On-site service professionals and services include:

  • Occupational Therapists (small or fine motor)
  • Physical Therapists (large or gross motor)
  • Speech Language Pathology Therapists
  • Seattle Public Schools Vision Department
  • Resource Room Specialists for students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Special Education Teachers and Staff providing Focus, Distinct, and Medically Fragile Programs
  • Special Education Teachers and Staff providing Developmental Preschool programs, including PCIS extended day services
  • Head Start Preschool
  • 1.0 FTE Social Worker
  • 0.5 FTE School Counselor
  • 3.6 FTE Interventionist Specialist
  • 2.6 FTE Multilingual teacher plus 2.0 Multilingual Instructional Assistants
  • 1.0 FTE Music Teacher
  • 1.0 FTE Physical Education Teacher
  • 1.0 Art Teacher
  • School Psychologist, one and one-half day per week
